Other Veterans of Confederate service as well as veterans from other wars and time periods are buried there. All will be honored during the service. Stories of the Confederate Veterans will be shared as 2020 marks the 5th year of the 155th Anniversary of the War Between the States. Local musician Stan Clardy will provide plenty of heartwarming period music. War Between the States re-enactors will also honor Confederate Veterans from Yadkin County with a special period rifle volley.
Directions: The Church is located at 4947 Rockford Road, Dobson, NC 27017. As Rockford itself is unincorporated, without a post office, the town is listed with a Dobson address. Please park in the parking lot across from the church. The service will be held in the top left corner of the cemetery.
